Dale moved his family to Mint Hill, NC in 2010 after living in Matthews for 18 years. His wife Pamela grew up in Mint Hill along with her brother and parents, the late Beemer and Linda Brewer. Their daughter Jessica graduated from North Carolina State University in 2014 and lives and works in Arden, NC.

Carl (Mickey) Ellington is a native of Mint Hill. He graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and attended Appalachian State University. He is currently the President of Carl M. Ellington Funeral Service and a member of the Advisory Board for Yadkin Valley Bank.
