Mint Hill Residents,
I want to take this occasion to highlight the importance of resident involvement and the value of your input in guiding the direction of our town. Whether you are a long-time resident or new to town, your perspective plays a role in shaping our future. I encourage you to take an active role in our community by attending a meeting, volunteering, or participating in local events. Your involvement strengthens the bonds that unite us but ensures Mint Hill remains a vibrant and inclusive place to live. It has been great seeing so many of you attending our monthly meetings. The next Board of Commissioners meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 11 at Mint Hill Town Hall, starting at 7:00 pm.
This week’s featured employee is Fire Fighter/EMT, Dylan Falls. Dylan has been with the Town of Mint Hill for the past 7 years. Dylan achieved his Fire Life & Safety Certification a little over a year ago. He acquired funding through the Mint Hill Fire Prevention Service (also known as the Mint Hill Volunteer Fire Department) for Fire Safety literature and giveaways for children. Over the past year, Dylan has been in front of over 500 children in our community teaching them fire safety. Thank you, Dylan, for your service and dedication to our town.
It looks like spring has finally arrived in Mint Hill. Our first event of the year, Parents’ Night Out, is scheduled for Friday, April 12 at Mint Hill Veterans Park.
Hope to see you around town.
Brad Simmons
Mint Hill Mayor
